Entertainment Entertainment Entertainment........

"Filmein bas teen cheezo par chalti hain Entertainment Entertainment aur Entertainment..."
that is what we learn from Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture before three years. Now ,in 2014, Akshay Kumar came up with entertaining dog whose name is Entertainment. really we watch movies just for Entertainment? if answer is yes then why movies like Queen breaking all records by doing more business in second week and entered in 100 crore club. The Lunch Box do good business, film like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag earning more then 100 crore in domestic box office. If answer is No then why films like Rajat Kapoor's Aakhon Dekhi not get 100 screens out of 4500. Yes we are moving rapidly towards world cinema all thanks to internet but second side we or our audience is little ammature about cinema, very few world class films get proper treatment  and they also need big name to support like Anurag Kashyap and Mahesh Bhatt etc. after getting so much positive response for 'Shahid' Hansal Mehta is very confident about his next project Citylights addition of Mahesh Bhatt as a producer of Citylights it was like energy capsule for Hansal Mehta but thing didn't work Citylights failed at box office as well as critical response is also not  very positive maybe reason of this is officially announced that Hansal Mehta's next is official remake of  'Metro Manila'.

In Cannes Film festival 2014 Kanu Bahl's Titli is only Indian movie which get screening. Fact is around 50% people (not normal audience, people who are struggling in industry or close to cinema)  don't know about Titli then how some one dare to release it? World class movies which are not typical Bollywood film with Naach Gaana and Masala are still struggling to find proper place.critically appreciable movies like 'The Lunch Box' had around six producers including Karan Johar and the budget is just aroun rupees 4 crore (not confirmed or any official figure)
and The LunchBox had done good business in india as well as overseas.Budget of Kanu Bahl's Titli is also very less but to proceed Kanu Bahl get first help from NDFC then Dibakar Banarjee and Yashraj films came ahead to support.there are so many films on way including some big project like Shehkhar Kapur's Paani,Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohanje daro, whose budget is more then 100 crore.2015 is going to change the meaning of Indian Cinema we are moving ahead rapidly year by year 'wait and watch' is the only answer.
